Data for billing and accounting purposes shall not be affected thereby.

6. How is compliance with data protection regulations and other relevant laws guaranteed?

We assure to adopt all necessary technical and organisational measures in order to guarantee appropriate protection of your personal data.

7. Cookies

This website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored locally on your computer. They enable the recognition of your Internet browser and the analysis of the website usage. The data collected through the storage of cookies cannot be evaluated personally. The data is used solely for evaluating and optimising the website. You can prevent the installation of cookies with a corresponding setting on your browser software; however, please note that with this setting it may not be possible to fully use all functions of this website.

8. Econda

Anonymised data is recorded and stored using solutions and technologies from econda GmbH to ensure that this website has a needs-appropriate design and to optimise this website; to this end usage profiles using pseudonyms are also created from this data. Cookies may be used for this purpose which make possible the recognition of an Internet browser. However, usage profiles are not merged with data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the visitor. IP addresses are made unrecognisable immediately upon receipt, whereby an assignment of usage profiles to IP addresses is not possible. The use of pseudonymised data is effected on the basis of the provisions of §15 Section 3 TMG. Visitors to this website may object to this data acquisition and storage at any time with effect for the future. The objection shall only apply to the device and web browser on which it was set. If necessary, please repeat the process on all devices. If you delete the opt-out cookie, requests are sent to econda again.

9. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and allow the analysis of the usage of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website (including your IP address) is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google shall use this information in order to evaluate your usage of the website, to compile reports about the website activities for the website operator and to provide further services associated with the website usage and Internet usage. If necessary, Google shall also transfer this information to third parties, where required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances shall Google associate your IP address with other data of Google. You can prevent the collection and dissemination of this information to Google Inc. by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.

This website uses Google Analytics with the additional feature "AnonymizeIP". This means that IP addresses are not stored and processed in their entirety, but in abbreviated form, in order to rule out a direct identification with the person. By using this website you hereby agree to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, usernames (e.g. user IDs) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period is reached is automatically deleted once a month.

10. Google Remarketing and AdWords

a. Use of the remarketing or "Similar target groups" feature of Google Inc.

On our website we use the remarketing or "Similar target groups" feature of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). This function serves for the analysis of visitor behaviour and visitor interests. Google uses cookies for the implementation of the analysis of the website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of the interest-related ads. Through the use of cookies the website visits as well as anonymised data about the usage of the website are collected. No personal data of the visitors to the website is stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the Google display network, advertisements are shown to you which very likely take into account previously visited product and information areas. If necessary, your data is also transferred to the USA. There is an arrangement in place by the European Commission for data transfers to the USA. The processing shall be effected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR with the legitimate interest of specifically addressing visitors to the website with advertisements by placing personalised, interest-related ads for visitors to the provider's website when they visit other websites in the Google display network.

b. Use of Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

On our website we use the online advertising programme "Google AdWords" and in this framework Conversion Tracking (visitor activity analysis). The Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is saved on your computer for the Conversion Tracking. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain personal data and thus do not help with personal identification. When you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie is not yet expired, we and Google are able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were directed to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. There is no chance that cookies can be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information that is gathered using the conversion cookie is used for compiling conversion statistics. We find out the total number of users that has clicked on one of our ads and been directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The processing shall be effected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR with the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the impact and efficiency of this advertising.

You have the right to object to this processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can permanently deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the respective plug-in: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=de Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies by third parties by calling up the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information for the opt-out. More information about Google Remarketing, as well as the respective privacy statement, can be found online at: https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/

11. YouTube and Facebook

a. YouTube

We use YouTube, a service of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("YouTube"), for embedding videos. YouTube is a video platform where the users post videos and make them accessible to the public. YouTube's advanced data protection mode is activated for the integrated YouTube videos on our website. This will ensure that YouTube does not store any information about you when merely calling up our Internet offering. However, please be aware that the YouTube videos embedded on our website always establish a connection to YouTube when you click on a YouTube video and view it. This happens in order to guarantee the technical transmission of the video. Data is transferred to YouTube through the established connection. YouTube also stores cookies on your end device. If you are logged in to YouTube as a member when you call up our website, then it is possible for YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour to your user account. If you do not want such an assignment, then you have to log out of your user accounts with YouTube and Google before visiting our website and delete the respective cookies in your browser settings. More information about data collection, processing and usage by YouTube can be found in the privacy statement of Google online at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

b. Facebook

The provider uses the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") on the website. With this feature the provider can specifically target visitors to the website with ads by placing personalised, interest-related Facebook ads for website visitors when they visit the social network Facebook. To implement the function Facebook's remarketing tag is implemented on the provider's website. With this tag a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when visiting the website. Data about which of our websites you visited is transferred to the Facebook server. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook account. More information about the collection and usage of the data by Facebook, about your rights regarding this issue and possibilities for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection notices online at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not want Facebook to assign the collected information directly to your Facebook account, you can deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" here. You must be logged on to Facebook to do this. Please click on the button in order to prevent the collection of your data by means of Facebook Pixel on our website

When you click on the link an "Opt-Out" cookie is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, then you must click on the link again. In addition, the opt-out only applies in the browser used by you and only within our web domain on which the link was clicked.

12. SSL encryption

This page uses SSL encryption for security reasons and for protection when transferring confidential content, e.g. the requests that you send us. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the lock symbol in the browser line and by the fact that the address line of the browser jumps from "http://" to "https://". If the SSL encryption is activated, the data that you send us cannot be read by third parties.

13. Newsletter

Our regular newsletter can be ordered and received anonymously by every user. So that we can personally address you, please state your surname and first name. Besides your e-mail address, we also require confirmation that you are the owner of the stated e-mail address and are happy to receive the newsletter (Double Opt-In). This data shall only be collected for the purpose of sending you the newsletter and documenting our right to do so. For the dispatch of the newsletter we use a service provider who stores your data in accordance with the legal regulations. You may cancel the order of the newsletter and revoke your consent to the storage of the e-mail address at any time.

14. Advertising of other companies and links to other pages

Insofar as we advertise for other companies on our websites, we mark this advertising accordingly. With the judgement dated 12 May 1998, "Liability for Links" (312 O 85/98), the District Court of Hamburg clearly decided that one has to if necessary also answer for contents of the linked site by the attachment of a link, i.e. can be made liable; this can only be prevented by dissociating oneself expressly from these contents, which MEVACO GmbH now does. MEVACO GmbH shall not forward any data to non-EU countries without your consent, unless required to do so for business processing and expressly permitted by the BDSG.

15. Security notices

We assure you that we shall store your personal data with the aid of technical and organisational measures so that it is not accessible to third parties. For e-mail communication complete data security cannot be guaranteed by us, hence why we recommend sending confidential information by post.
